30,000 plus veterans across America are homeless. Another 1,500,000 are on the verge of being homeless, and over 100,000 men and women who have been deployed are not even considered veterans. These heroes are excluded from services, healthcare assistance, and financial support.
How We help
What We Do
Longhorn Outpost assists homeless veterans in the community in numerous ways through a compassionate no strings attached approach to open a two way dialogue with veterans. Our team regularly goes out into the community to assist homeless heroes. Our goal is through the use of tangible items they need to open a dialogue to get them into housing, assistance, mental health treatment, or other programs to reduce the homeless epidemic in an experience where they feel comfortable speaking with us and our team can begin too identify their needs and build trust. Our end mission is to get those veterans into programs that will help them achieve a better life.
